Our new Ecoratorio : A lens into achieving wholistic (whole‑system) health and wellness

Welcome back!! Thank you for visiting our blog. It has been nearly six years since we last posted on Ecoratorio. During this time, we immersed ourselves in a range of other activities that shaped our perspective. Furthermore, the extraordinary events of 2020 further influenced our outlook. Together, these experiences prompted us to pause and reassess which  created a strong resolve to return to the blog with a renewed sense of purpose.

What emerged as the common thread was wholistic (wholesystem) health and wellness. It recognises that the body, mind, sense of purpose, social connections and environment (both around us and within us) are profoundly interconnected, and that true wellbeing arises from understanding how these elements influence one another.

Nutrition, physical activity, the microbiome in us, and our external environment, all play essential roles in supporting the health of both body and mind. As we restart Ecoratorio, we will explore many of these facets.  Our aim is therefore to look at health and wellness through a broad, integrated lens while staying grounded in scientific thinking.

We will draw on evidencebased insights to inform our reflections where possible and may also highlight insights of esteemed practitioners whose perspectives deeply enrich the field. From time to time, we will also review relevant books and products that support wholistic health. If  there is something you would like us to explore, feel free to reach out.

We are truly excited to begin this next chapter and to share a more expansive, interconnected approach to whole system health.
